Introduction to the advanced mathematics required for University Physics I (Phys 251), emphasizing the geometrical, analytical, and computational understandinf of differential and integral calculus, vectors, algebraic and computational software. The advanced mathematics is taught from the perspective of physics, emphasizing an intuitive understanding of the integration of physics and mathematics. Three hours of lecture and demonstration.
