An interdisciplinary course incorporating pathophysiology, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical/medicinal chemistry concepts essential to understanding the basis of drug use in diseases of the nervous, cardiovascular, and genitourinary systems. Core concepts in pharmacology, mechanism of drug action in various categories, and the chemical basis of pharmacology will be presented.
