This course is designed to familiarize students with the concepts and mechanisms of international and U.S. federal environmental law and policy. It presents the role of the American legal system as it functions to control and remediate maritime environmental problems and evaluates the opportunities to use judicial, administrative, and legislative processes to address those problems.
