Undergraduate Research (Capstone Course) ((3 Credits))

Catalog description

Designed to require that senior students demonstrate the ability to develop critical thinking skills, correctly analyze and address relevant problems facing society today and in the near future, present their research-based results before their peers and experts in the related field via written, oral, and multimedia format. Thus, the course will include extensive interaction with faculty mentors, presentations before their peers and members of the scientific community, a final written document developed according to the scientific method and, satisfactory passage of the departmental exit exam.
