Catalog description

This course provides detailed knowledge of the environmental factors critical to safe flight operations. The course covers weather systems, upper-air characteristics, flight hazards, weather-related to pics in flight safety, meteorological flight planning, use of weather information systems, and there ports and charts used for aviation weather reporting and forecasting. Survey of atmospheric and weather-related phenomena and their impact on flight operations including the inter face of airmen and flight service stations.
