Catalog description

The course covers a brief historical review of early aviation, the freedom and the power of flight from the 15th. Century drawings and manuscripts of Leonardo de Vinci to modern times, discussing the fundamentals of flight and aeronautical technology, and an introduction to aircraft systems and operations. The dynamics of safety of flight, human factors, interpreting aeronautical graphic representation, introductory navigation, air traffic control and airspace, and aviation weather aspects are topics of discussion.
