Clinical Preceptorship III ((2 Credits))

Catalog description

This course provides immersive clinical experience in emergency preparedness and critical incident management as defined in the BOC Domain 3 of Athletic Training related to real-time emergency recognition, triage, and management. Emphasis includes development and execution of Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), logistical coordination, communication during critical incidents, and collaboration with emergency medical personnel. Students will rehearse and implement protocols for acute injuries, catastrophic events, and high-risk situations in supervised settings.
