Ortho Assessment Lower II ((3 Credits))

Catalog description

This course prepares students to assess, evaluate and diagnose lower extremity orthopedic injuries using systematic, evidence-based approaches. Students will develop skills in history taking, observation, physical examination, and special diagnostic testing to formulate accurate clinical and differential diagnoses. Emphasis is placed on establishing an appropriate plan of care and effectively communicating findings, prognosis, and treatment strategies to patients and stakeholders.
