Catalog description

This course provides foundational knowledge of biomechanics and its application to human movement and performance. Students will learn anatomical and biomechanical terminology, principles of mechanics, and methods for interpreting biomechanical data. Emphasis is placed on analyzing movement patterns, applying problem-solving skills, and utilizing basic biomechanical instrumentation to evaluate human motion and its relation to orthopedic injuries.
