Catalog description

This course explores the basic foundations of the nervous system, including its evolution, development, organization, and function. Typical brain function will be covered as well as disorders of the nervous system. Students will gain exposure to cutting-edge neuroscience research techniques, and examine how neuroscience is central to important issues in our everyday lives. TSI Restriction(s): Reading, Writing, and Math
