Catalog description

This course examines how entrepreneurs create, grow, and preserve wealth across industries and generations. Students explore how major fortunes have been built and sustained, the ethical and strategic decisions that shaped them, and the social and economic contexts that made them possible. Through case studies of prominent entrepreneurs and family enterprises, the course highlights patterns of success and decline, ethical considerations in wealth management, and contemporary practices in legacy planning and preservation.
