Mathematical Biology

Catalog description

Students will investigate mathematical biology models such as population growth for single species and multiple species, infectious disease dynamics models, biochemical enzyme reactions, and biological oscillations. Appropriate mathematical techniques are applied to analyze the models and obtain solutions. Model improvements will also be evaluated for more practical modeling effects.
