Catalog description

The course is designed to help students learn how to use spreadsheets (Microsoft (R) Excel) to solve a variety of financial problems. The course is relatively 'hands-on' and will help students develop skills useful in a variety of jobs in finance, accounting, insurance, real-estate and management. After completing this course, students should be able to use Excel to solve a range of common problems in investments, small business finance, and corporate finance.
