Catalog description

In this course students will acquire knowledge and skills related to implementing single-case research methodology within educational settings for diverse populations. Single-case research designs are empirical designs rooted in the field of applied behavior analysis and are regularly used in the study of individuals with low-incidence disabilities, although the methods are also appropriate for the study of other populations. This class will provide a detailed study of the characteristics of single-case research, the use of single-case designs within educational settings, and of single-case research designs.
