Catalog description

Within this course secondary pre-service teachers demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary for successful teaching in a secondary setting. The teacher preparation program works in conjunction with approved and accredited area districts to obtain placements for clinical teaching. This course includes the creation and submission of a subject-specific portfolio based assessment. Restriction(s): Passing scores on the core content TExES exams are required for participation in clinical teaching. TSI Restriction(s): Reading, Math, and Writing
