Elem Clinical Teach/Performance

Catalog description

Within this course elementary pre-service teachers demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary for successful teaching in an elementary setting. The teacher preparation program works in conjunction with approved and accredited area districts to obtain placements for clinical teaching. This course includes the creation and submission of a subject specific portfolio-based assessment. Restriction(s): Passing scores on the core content TExES exams are required for participation in clinical teaching. TSI Restriction(s): Reading, Math, and Writing
