Social Studies Methods: Elementary

Catalog description

This course provides teacher candidates with a method of planning, teaching, and assessing social studies in the early childhood through elementary grade levels. Topics include selecting and organizing social studies programs, sequencing the content of the social studies curriculum, adapting an enriching social studies programs to meet the needs of all students, and creating assessments aligned with the social studies curriculum.
