Catalog description

This course covers the topics of computer security and information security in greater detail. Topics will include cryptography, security protocols, web security, network security, software-security, mobile security, intrusion detection and prevention systems, vulnerability assessment, and other security technologies. Special emphasis is on application and software security issues. Hands-on exercises are included to reinforce the material. TSI Restriction(s): Reading, Writing, and Math
