Business Combinations

Catalog description

This course comprises a detailed examination of advanced accounting topics, which culminates in students preparing consolidated financial statements for business combinations, mergers and consolidations, and investments in subsidiaries. Emphasis is given to the elimination of intercompany transactions and to the issues of consolidating the statements of complex entities which have indirect and mutual holdings in other corporations.
