Catalog description

This course approaches accounting from the point of view of a business manager. Emphasis is on the source, strengths, and limitations of financial accounting information as a support for the five functions of management, i.e. planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling. The course culminates in the analysis of publicly available financial statements, using both vertical and horizontal analysis techniques.
