Designed for students who feel prepared to engage in upper-division Spanish coursework. A survey of approaches to the practice and theory of translation with hands-on practice in a variety of genres. Students will be introduced to the realities of language mediation professions and the main concepts in translation and interpreting studies theory. May be repeated for credit when topics vary.
