Prerequisite: SPN 3043 , SPN 3063 , or SPN 3053 . Examines the relationship between language, culture, and healthcare among Latinos in the US. Offers students a broad understanding of the health conditions affecting Latinos in the US, sociolinguistic awareness, and a comprehensive understanding of the language issues and policy measures that intersect with these conditions. Course Fees: LRLF $10.27; STLF $18.48.
