Prerequisite: SPE 5403 or consent of instructor. This course will provide the opportunity for students to acquire an understanding of the principles of assessment for students with disabilities or who are at-risk. Students will learn how to evaluate and interpret formal and informal assessments in order to make data-based programming decisions and determine special education eligibility.
