Prerequisite: PSY 3403 completed with a minimum grade of “C-“ or consent of instructor. This course examines social, psychological, and biological theories and research on sex differences and conceptions of gender. Topics often include the content and origins of gender roles, gender stereotypes, gender identity, and gender differences and similarities in behavior, psychological processes, interpersonal relationships, and health. Counts as an upper-division Group B course. (Formerly titled “Psychological Perspectives on Gender.”) Generally offered: Fall, Spring. Generally Scheduled Location: Main Campus, Online/Internet. Course Fee: LRHC $10; STHC $18; DL01 $75.
