Prerequisite: Graduate standing, PHY 5303 and PHY 5403 , or consent of instructor. Variational and WKB methods. Time-independent and time-dependent perturbation theory. Scattering theory. Path integration formulation. Introduction to relativistic quantum mechanics and the Dirac equation. This course has Differential Tuition. Course Fee: GS01 $90; LRS1 $46.20; STSI $21.60.
