Catalog description

This course introduces students to the discipline of public administration with an emphasis on the expectations and ethics of service in civil society. Students have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge of effective public servants in a diverse world. In addition to a basic introduction to the field of public administration, other topics may include a general overview of leadership and public service values, including justice, fairness and transparency. Students should take this course in their first 6 hours of coursework. (Formerly titled "Introduction to Public Administration.") Generally Scheduled Location: Downtown Campus. Course Fee: GHC1 $75; LRHC $10; STHC $18.
