This course will cover the fundamentals of using data for decision-making in public service. Students will learn about how various statistical trends (e.g., demographic, economic, environmental, climatological) inform local, regional, and national policy discussions. As part of the course, students will learn to conduct data gathering and analysis as well as how to present data to inform decision-makers and public audiences.
