Prerequisite: MMI 1053 , CHE 1103 , and NDT 2043 or equivalent; restricted to Nutrition and Health and Nutrition and Dietetics Majors. Corequisites: NDT 3313 . The application of concepts related to the chemical, physical, sensory, and nutritional properties of food to develop skills in menu planning, food preparation, recipe modification, and the use of food as medicine. (Formerly NTR 3012. Credit can only be earned for one of the following courses: NTR 3012 or NDT 3191 .) Students who declare the Nutrition and Health pre-CPD track may NOT register for this course.
