Prerequisite: BIO 2313 or equivalent, or consent of the instructor. This course will provide a basic understanding of the developing human body from fertilization and organ formation to the birth of the fetus. Modern techniques will be introduced to appreciate how conserved patterning mechanisms contribute to normal and disease states. An emphasis will also be placed on the integration of developmental principles with functional anatomy and physiology. This course has Differential Tuition. Course Fee: GS01 $90.
