Prerequisite: NDRB 3433 or equivalent, or consent of instructor. This course focuses on the fundamental neurobiological mechanisms underlying learning and memory. Neurotransmission, synaptic plasticity, molecular events, neurophysiological correlates, and behavioral readouts are considered to describe how discrete brain regions and neural networks contribute to learning and memory.
