Prerequisite: NDRB 3913 or an equivalent, NDRB 5033 recommended. An introduction to advanced techniques of molecular biology dealing with manipulations and analyses of DNA, including preparation and analysis of genomic DNA, genomic cloning, the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), Southern blotting, DNA sequencing, and computational analysis of DNA sequence data.
