Prerequisite: BIO 3513 or an equivalent. Molecular structure and function of genes and nucleic acids, and the processes of DNA replication, mutation and repair, as well as transcription and translation of genetic material. Genome projects, functional genomics and the genetic control of development will also be covered. (Formerly BIO 5123 . Credit cannot be earned for both NDRB 5123 and BIO 5123 .)
