Prerequisite: Graduate standing in music. A study of works and styles appropriate to the topics listed. Topics are (1) Middle Ages; (2) Renaissance; (3) Baroque Period; (4) Classic Period; (5) Romantic Period; (6) Music Since 1900; (7) World Music; and (8) Music Practices and Styles. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. Topics may be taken concurrently. Course Fee: GL01 $90; STLF $18.48.
