Prerequisites: MUS 2112 , MUS 2162 , and one of the following: MUS 1552 or MUS 2521 . Specialized instruction in advanced music theory. Possible topics include rhythm and meter, atonal analysis, timbre and orchestration, pedagogy of music theory, analysis and performance, and genre, period and/or composer studies. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. Generally offered: Fall and Spring of even-numbered years. Course Fees: LRLF $10.27; STLF $18.48.
