Prerequisite: MUS 1132 ; enrollment is limited to music majors. Continued study of music theory, with emphasis on the analysis and composition of chromatic materials and modulation as applied to repertoire from a variety of style periods. Also includes the continued study of small forms. Should be taken concurrently with MUS 2102 . May not be attempted more than three times. Generally offered: Fall, Spring.
