Prerequisites: KIN 3303 , KIN 3463 , KIN 4143 , and admission to one of the following concentrations: Athletic Training, Kinesiology and Health Science, or Rehabilitation Science. This course is designed to introduce students to a variety of therapeutic modalities currently used in clinical rehabilitation. Students will learn the theoretical basis and application procedures for a variety of modalities including therapeutic heat and cold, electrotherapy, therapeutic massage, ultrasound, and laser/light therapy.
