A study of advanced first aid procedures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillation (AED) for health care providers. Upon successful completion of this course, students become eligible to obtain certification in advanced first aid from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
