Prerequisite: Consent of instructor. This research seminar focuses on the challenges in the design of safe and robust AI-based systems. It explores some of the major problems in thisarea from the viewpoint of industry and academia, as well as issues such as safety, fairness, robustness, adversarial examples, explainable AI, and real-world implications of AI. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. This course has Differential Tuition.
