Catalog description

A transdisciplinary overview of health policy and its role in the public health and health care systems, specifically examining the agenda-setting and policymaking processes, and the power of government institutions (e.g., legislature, courts) in health and public health practice. Public health policy interventions, the sociopolitical environments in which policy decisions are made, the intersection of health policy and health equity; and population health consequences of such decisions will be also discussed.
