This graduate seminar will examine specialized topics surrounding the work of public historians by exploring questions of shared authority, contextualized learning, collaborative exhibits, and audience engagement. Possible topics covered are decolonizing museums, digital history, documentary and media, oral history, and the creation of physical and/or virtual museum exhibits. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. Course Fee: GL01 $90.
