Applied models of urban and regional growth, structure, interaction, influence, and inequality over space, with emphasis on the United States. The course introduces the student to theories and concepts of urban and regional development, stressing practical skills for analyzing social, political, economic, and demographic characteristics of the urban scene, with an emphasis on sustainable development.
