Catalog description
Prerequisite: CS 1063 , MAT 1073 , and STA 1053 , or consent of instructor. This is a practical course covering various statistical methods used in data preparation and analysis of geospatial data. Topics include mapping, data distributions, scatter plot comparisons, correlation analysis, uncertainly estimates, among others. Principal component analysis or geospatial data will also be covered. All course materials will be taught using the MATLAB programming language and presented in the form of problem sets. This course has Differential Tuition. Course Fee: GS01 $90; IUE1 $15.
