Catalog description

Prerequisite: GEO 4933 or consent of instructor. Part II: In this course, students will conduct a laboratory analysis of samples collected during the first half to determine continent-scale environmental change across North America. Students will gain hands-on experience with x-ray fluorescence analysis and making thin sections. In addition, to the lab work, they will perform a structural analysis of maps and cross-sections they made during the first half. This analysis with use ArcGIS and Move software packages. Generally offered: Summer. This course has Differential Tuition.
