Prerequisite: GEO 1103 or GES 2613 , or consent of instructor, and junior or senior standing. In-depth study of processes that erode and deposit sediment on the Earth’s surface. Sediment supply and transport capacity driving sediment transfers that change landscapes. Case studies illustrate role of geomorphic knowledge in addressing environmental problems.
