Catalog description

Prerequisite: ES 1314 and ES 2113 or equivalents. This course will expand on student GIS skills from merely ‘making maps’ to geospatial data analysis and using GIS as a problem-solving tool. Introductory skills such as data management, layer editing, layout creation, and knowledge of map design, projections, and error will be assumed. This course will cover advanced analysis tools focusing on advanced spatial and 3D analysis and other geoprocessing techniques. Generally offered: Fall of odd years.
