An introduction to environmental science, including scientific principles, concepts, and methods needed to understand the interactions of the abiotic (non-living) components of the natural world. Topics covered include waste and water resources, land and food resources, conventional energy and alternatives, and air quality and climate change. Core Curriculum skills, including critical thinking, quantitative skills, teamwork, and communication, are emphasized. (TCCN = ENVR 1302). May apply toward the Core Curriculum requirement in Life and Physical Sciences. Generally offered: Fall and Spring. Generally Scheduled Location: Main Campus, Online/Internet.
