Prerequisite: Completion of Core Curriculum requirement in Communication. The interdisciplinary study of how social, political, and cultural practices shape scientific research and technological innovation, with emphasis on knowledge construction, production and analysis of scientific texts, controversies, expertise, public understanding of science, and the political economy of STEM knowledge.
