Catalog description

This course is designed to provide graduate students with an opportunity to acquire foundational knowledge of theories of teaching and learning in engineering education. The course contains principles of learner-centered and evidence-based pedagogy and assessment in pre-engineering and engineering learning environments. This course serves as an opportunity to gain knowledge about the role of engineering educators as teachers, mentors, and advisors through a focused examination of theory, disciplinary literacies, and empirical research in engineering education. This course has Differential Tuition.
