Catalog description

Prerequisite: EDP 6103 , EDP 6203 , and EDP 6413 , or consent of instructor. This course introduces students to statistical methods that consider several variables at once. Emphasis will be given to the applications of multivariate methods to data sets in education, psychology, and social sciences. Students will develop foundational knowledge as to how multivariate methods work, they will be able to apply these methods using computer software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata), and they will be able to make inferences on from the results of multivariate statistical analyses. Understanding of linear regression is assumed for this course. Course Fee: GH01 $90; LRH1 $20; SPS1 $42; STSH $30.
