Prerequisite: EDP 5303 or equivalent. Course examines practice in bilingual psychoeducational assessment. Students will have the opportunity to learn about: ethical, legal, and professional issues in bilingual assessment; theories of second language acquisition and language proficiency development and assessment; best practices in the use of interpreters in assessment; measurement of academic achievement via multiple approaches; and measurement of cognitive abilities via multiple approaches.
